Informal Theme 8

My Favorite Character in Grand Chase

Sieghart was a master Gladiator of Kanavan long, long ago. His name was legendary and his feats in battle have been recounted in history books. At one time, he alone staved off an assault of 100 goblins, a story told to children of even the smallest villages. He rejected all titles and awards bestowed upon him by nobility and left the knighthood to seek his own goals. While on his journey, he came upon the ruins of an ancient city and disappeared. After a year had passed, he was given up for dead and the entire kingdom mourned the passing of the legendary hero.Hundreds of years have now passed, and rumors of a new knight appearing in the Bermesiah Empire were spreading across the continents. The man claimed to be the long lost hero, Sieghart, and presented himself at the capital of Kanavan. While traveling through the ancient relics of the long-gone empire, he was attacked by a great demon and put into a near death state. Seeing his state, the Highlander gods revived him and trained him with their warriors making him an immortal. He has now left to join the Grand Chase. As the Ascendant God and his evil followers assault the Bermesiah Empire, his resolve is stronger than ever.

The Prime Knight was chosen by the gods to establish balance in the world after it was thrown off by the forces of evil. The powers of evil continued to grow, and the gods soon realized that the mortal world was in peril. The gods summoned an elite group of knights from which they selected the very best warriors to become Prime Knights. Sieghart the Highlander had been training with the other Highlander Warriors when he caught the eyes of the gods, and having passed all of the trials presented to him, returned as the Prime Knight to save the world. The Prime Knights wield a sword called the "Soluna," which is two swords in one, with one part representing the Sun and the authority of the gods and the other part representing the Moon and gods' noble nature. When the Prime Knight holds Soluna, he channels genuine power that can rival that of the gods.
However, a Prime Knight is not to use power recklessly, thus Sieghart had been relying on his own inherent talents, doing the best that he could up to this point. Yet, with his own natural powers alone, Sieghart is not strong enough to take on his new enemies. Now, Sieghart has decided to finally take up the Soluna and display his full power as the Prime Knight. With two swords in one, the Prime Knight has a long reach without being hindered by the weight of such a large weapon, and as a result can dominate his enemies with his quick moves and attacks. Prime Knight can grab and link combos by timing special commands and keys. The Prime Knight's Rage Mode is more powerful than any of Sieghart's past jobs; combining his attacks and skills with Rage will up the number of hits and change the motions on his grabs and taunts, maximizing their power. When his rage is unleashed, the Prime Knight is a force to be reckoned with, able to charge through enemy lines and leave nothing but destruction in his wake.

My Favorite Game

All of us have their favorite games like DOTA, Special Force, etc. As of now, my favorite game is Grand Chase. Grand Chase is practically a MMOSPG [Massive Multiplayer Online Story Playing Game] rather than a MMORPG [Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game], mainly because in each dungeon is a storyline including the Grand Chase characters. However, when Ntreev advertises Grand Chase, they refer to it as an MMORPG. The Trial Forest dungeon has no story. After that dungeon, Elesis, Lire, and Arme are in about every storyline. They are first introduced at Trial Tower. The Serdin and Kanavan Kingdoms, the biggest kingdoms on the Bermisiah Continent, coexisted in peace until their lands were slowly overcome by the evil Queen of Darkness, KazeAaze. I will tell you the story of Grand Chase.

The Serdin and Kanavan Kingdoms of the Bermesiah Continent coexisted in an era of peace until their lands were slowly overcome by the evil Queen of Darkness, KazeAaze. KazeAze managed to infiltrate the Kanavan Kingdom by murdering Queen's most loyal and trusted retainer, and then masquerading in his place. Through this despicable act of deceit, KazeAaze was able to get close to the queen and entice her to the ways of darkness. KazeAaze filled the Kanavan queen's with hatred and insidious thoughts, and led her to wage a war against Serdin Kingdom that lasted five years. All of the Bermesiah Continent was devastated: many heroes fell in battle and even the Queen of Serdin sacrificed her life in hopes of ending the fighting. The Queen of Serdin's death broke KazeAaze's hold over the Queen of Kanavan, who finally regained her senses and erupted in fury over KazeAaze's treachery. KazeAaze escaped one step ahead of the executioner, and the Queen dispatched trackers to track her down. The search was abandoned as all of the trackers mysteriously vanished, and KazeAaze remained at larged for years. After the five-year war, a series of bizarre incidents broke out over the Serdin Kingdom: these events revealed that KazeAaze manipulated both the Kanavan and Serdin Kingdoms into fighting each other. The newly appointed Queen of Serdin has promised to prevent another war from breaking out, and has declared a statewide hunt for the Queen of Darkness.

And thus, the Grand Chase was formed. They are an elite corps whose stated mission is to track down KazeAaze and ensure peace for all Bermesiah.

Informal Theme 6

Friendship and Love

A friend is someone who knows the song in your hear and can sing the words back to you when you have forgotten them.Truely great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget. Friendship is not about the person you have known the longest, it is about who came and never left you alone. A true friend sees the first tear, catches the second, and stops the third. Friends are like stars, they come and go but the ones that stay are the ones that glow. A true friend can see the hurt in your eyes while everyone else is fooled by your smile. No matter how serious life gets, you still need the ones you can be stupid with. Friends are like four-leaf vlovers, lucky to have but hard to find. Friends laugh at your silliest jokes, put up with your worst moods, go along with your craziest ideas, and still see the best in you. Friendship is what helps you get through the bad times and enjoy the good times. Side by side or miles apart, your friends are always close to your heart.

You can tell if you love someone if you look at them over and over again and no matter how many times you look, you fall in love with them all over again. They are all you think about every minute of everyday. To the world you might be just one, but to someone you might be the world. Love is not finding the perfect person, its seeing an imperfect person perfectly. There is one special person out there for everyone. You know you love someone when you can't describe how you fell in words. When he/she smiles at you, you can't help but to smile back. You read his/her texts over and over again. Three seconds to say "I Love You", a lifetime to prove it.  Life's too short, tell that one special person you love them, don't let your love go to waste.

Informal Theme 3

 How Do I Love Thee?

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Sonnet XLIII, "How Do I Love Thee?" is probably Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s most popular love poem. It is heartfelt, romantic, loving, elegant, and simple. It is also quite memorable.

The love poem starts with the question, "How Do I Love Thee?" and proceeds to count the ways. Her Christian spirituality testifies that she loves Robert "to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach." She then professes seven more ways that she loves Robert. Her "passion put to use in my old griefs" refers to the depth of her former despair. The love that "I seemed to lose with my lost saints" refers to the lost loves of her mother and her brother.

The love poem ends with the declaration that time and death will not diminish her love for Robert because "if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death."

My future will not copy fair my past

My future will not copy fair my past'—
I wrote that once; and thinking at my side
My ministering life-angel justified
The word by his appealing look upcast
To the white throne of God, I turned at last,
And there, instead, saw thee, not unallied
To angels in thy soul! Then I, long tried
By natural ills, received the comfort fast,
While budding, at thy sight, my pilgrim's staff
Gave out green leaves with morning dews impearled.
I seek no copy now of life's first half:
Leave here the pages with long musing curled,
And write me new my future's epigraph,
New angel mine, unhoped for in the world!
